
The tour begins at the Levi Tourist Information Centre at 9am and heads towards the Sámi Museum Siida in Inari. The path takes you through the wilderness on an eco-road, stopping in an authentic Lappish village Pokka for a coffee. On the journey, you can see reindeer and other animals of Lapland. During the journey, the guide tells you factual and fictional stories about Sáminess and Sámi people.
At the Siida museum, you’ll be introduced to Sámi history and culture. After lunch, the journey back begins. On the way back, we visit Taatsin seita, a holy place of sacrifice for the Sámi people. We will return to Levi in the evening.
