There’s plenty to do at Children’s Levi throughout the year

At Levi there’s skiing in the winter and sledging in the summer, organized programmes for the whole family, children´s summer program and a chance to say hi to Leevi, even if he is a bit shy! At winter time Leevi likes to hang around mostly at Kid´s Land.

Levi is a safe place for children to try out winter sports. You can find the slopes for the whole family here and skiing tracks here.

Levi Husky park, Reindeer Farms, Snow Village in Lainio and Luvattumaa Ice Gallery offers unforgettable experiences for the whole family. Some of the Parks are available on request during winter.

Year round activities offers Spa, Children’s Playhouse Inka & Niko, Spa bowling and Levibowling.

Around Levi Parks is where it’s all happening in summer.  Here are a couple of tips:  the wicked summer sledge ride is open again for all ages as is the Adventure Park where even older kids won’t get bored!  A great day out could take you to the Poro Park reindeer summer camp and along the way you could take in the amusements at the Gondola area.

Leevi is a well-behaved wolverine who would never tease you

If you happen to bump into a giant wolverine, you’ll see he’s quite harmless to people, just like the rest of his brothers and sisters.  In fact, you’ll find him pretty friendly with people.  Leevi loves children, nature and fun.  He might even be a bit of an attention seeker.Leevi-ahma

Who are you?
I’m Leevi, a friend of children.  And I’m a wolverine.
Where do you come from?
Far away, out in the wilderness.  My cousins avoid people but at least here at Levi there’s one wolverine who blends right in.
Yeah, if you want to get noticed.  How did you stumble upon Levi?
I saw a picture where there was a super ‘kätkä’, or wolverine.  It’s on the Kittilä coat of arms - a real sign of respect for us wolverines.
Tell us about yourself.
I’m gentle and kind and I wouldn’t hurt a fly. Some people say I’m a bit clumsy, but what’s the hurry?
Usually none, it’s just that sometimes it can be fun to race around. Can visitors talk to you?
We wolverines are a quiet bunch.  Maybe a hug when we meet - a big one!
Is there anything really special about you?
As carrion eaters, we wolverines are pretty hot on recycling.  So whenever I see any rubbish I automatically take it to the recycling bin.  You’ll remember that as well, won’t you?
Yes I will.  And I certainly won’t go dropping any litter. I’ll look forward to seeing you again soon, Leevi!
Well I’ll be here, getting involved in all sorts of fun for children. Hi to all of you and see you at Levi!
