Monday

Canoeing safari on the river Ounasjoki

Canoeing is a fun and easy way to travel in the nature. The canoeing excursion takes us from Köngäs to Sirkka along the river Ounasjoki. There are no actual rapids, just a few strong flows of water. It is therefore also suitable for beginners. Before starting off, the guide teaches us how to handle the canoe. During the journey, we will take a break to enjoy sausages grilled over a campfire and coffee. Here it is also possible to go for a swim. Price: €30 /person and €17 /child (6–12 yrs) including transfer from Levi, canoeing equipment, tuition and refreshments. Visit the Levi Reindeer Park - Poropark

Come and explore the life of reindeers on the top of the Levi fell. Sightseeing by Gondola cable car lift to the Reindeer Park, price € 3 /one-way or € 6, 50 / return. With local reindeer herders, we will learn about the reindeers and their lives. During the excursion, you have a possibility to buy some refreshments. Departure from the Levi centre hotels in the area or from the Levi Tourist Information Office around 16.00.

Tuesday

Horse riding in a forest

Once at the stable, we will choose the horse suitable for you. Once the horses are saddled, and we have agreed on the common rules, we head into Lapland’s pure forest with mountain scenery on calm and reliable Finnish horses. The pace is adjusted according to the abilities of the riders. The tour is ideal also for beginners. Price: € 35 /person including transport, riding helmet and guide services. Trip on a Raft

Welcome to the tour to the Köngäs village on the river Ounasjoki. Price € 13 /adult and € 7 /child (4-12 yrs). During the cruise, you will enjoy the view of real Lappish countryside and of the beautiful Levi Fell towering proudly in its summer coat. On the raft, you can purchase coffee and pancakes or grill your own sausages aboard by the open fireplace. NB: dress warmly or according to the weather. Wednesday

Trip to the Levi Husky Park and to the Lake Munajärvi

Trip to Köngäs village, which lies along the River Ounasjoki, to visit the Levi Husky Park where you meet friendly huskies, international film wolf-stars and puppies. After the visit to the Levi Husky Park, we continue along the path to the Munajärvi lakeshore, where we grill sausages over the campfire and savour a cup of coffee, tea or juice. There you can observe the life of water birds, enjoy a swim or – upon a small payment – have a sauna. On the way back to the Levi Husky Park, we will meet the kissing reindeer. Introduction to Disc golf

Disc golf is a flying disc (Frisbee) game in which individual players throw a flying disc at a target. On this guided trip you will get to know about a technique, game and course.

The object of the game is to traverse a course from beginning to end in the fewest number of throws of the disc. Price € 5/person, age limit 6 years old. Departure from the Levi centre hotels in the area or from the Levi Tourist Information Office around 16.00.

Thursday

Into the foaming rapids on a car inner tube

Welcome to an unforgettable experience: riding the clear Lappish river rapids on a car inner tube. The tube spins, the water splashes and laughing comes naturally. The guide is with you all the time. Wet suit, helmet, life-jacket, knee pads and flippers provided. After riding the rapids, there is the possibility to have a sauna. Please bring your own swimming suit and towel! Price: € 27 /adult and € 17 /child (10–12 yrs). Participants must be at least 10 years old. Experience speed in the Levi Bike Park

Hit the free ride routes on a downhill bike in the Levi Bike Park. Built on the western slope of Levi fell by the Gondola lift area, the Bike Park offers mountain biking in a beautiful landscape. The guide accompanies you and the program is suitable also for beginners and children over 12 years of age. The participants under 18 years old must present a permission signed by their parents. Price: € 30 /person, including transport, hire of downhill bike and safety gears, Gondola lift ticket and tuition. Please remember to take your own water bottle. Friday

Mountain bike Tour

Mountain biking is a fun and easy way to enjoy the beautiful Lappish landscape. The mountain bike program takes you on approximately 12km cross-country route around the Levi fell. The experienced mountain bike guide will assist you with useful tips on biking and on the route. The biking course is suitable both for beginners and experienced riders, participants must be at least 12 years old. Price: € 20 /person, including hire of mountain bike and helmet and guide service. Please remember to bring your own water bottle. Meeting point: Zero Point at 16.00.

Midnight Sun hiking

Come along to enjoy the Midnight Sun by hiking on the fell. On this tour we get to enjoy the peace & silence of the nature, beautiful landscape and the Midnight Sun. During the break some light snacks are served. Please remember to bring your own water bottle. Join us to experience the unique Midnight Sun! Price € 25/adult and € 15/child (8–12 yrs). Meeting point: Tourist Information at 21:00 (between 1.6.-30.7) and at 19:30 (between 1.-31.8 ).

Saturday

The Adventure Park

This adventure takes you some meters above the ground. You may challenge your courage and both your mental and physical powers during this program. The skilled guides in the Adventure Park will explain the characteristics of the routes and the safety use of the equipments. You may choose the courses from 1 to 3 or 1 to 5 according to your own courage and height. The minimum height required for routes 1 - 3 is 140 cm (price € 12 / person) and 155 cm for the routes 1 - 5 (price € 22 / person). You will move through the courses using cables, wires, wooden bridges, nets and ropes. Wear suitable shoes – sandals are not allowed. Departure from the Levi centre hotels in the area or the Levi Tourist Information Office at around 10.00.

Samiland

The guided tour gives you an insight of the Sámi culture. Samiland includes both indoor and outdoor exhibitions. Outside you can also see traditional buildings. Fishing at the Lake Immeljärvi

This fishing trip is suitable for the whole family. We will go to the waters on traditional rowing boats or canoes. We fish pike and perch and maybe even trout or grayling. During the fishing we will have a break for juice. Own snacks can be bring as well. Price € 32 € / adult, € 17 / child (4 – 12 years). Price includes the fishing permission. Meeting point: Levi Tourist Information at 14.10.
