A canoeing school for beginners

A good way to learn canoeing safely is to come to our canoeing school. A guide will teach the basic technique of handling an Indian canoe, both in theory and in practice. The practice will take place on lake circumstances.

Our canoeing school will show you the basics of paddling and handling an Indian canoe. We will canoe on lake Immeljärvi or Levisalmi, depending on weather conditions. After this training you will be able to go and practise canoeing for example on an easy river.

Duration: approx. 1,5 hours
Guidance: guided
Level of Difficulty: suitable for beginners
Group Size: min.4 persons
Clothing: according to the weather; wind- and waterproof clothing and some extra clothes
Participation fee: 30,00 € / person
Fee includes: teaching, canoeing equipment, guides services
