Gondolas – Panorama lifts

You may admire breathtaking views over the fells of Lapland in 2 panoramic cabin lifts.

Using Gondola 2000 cabin lift on the western side of fell Levitunturi, you can see the Finnish fells Pallas, Aakenus, Olos and Ylläs. The gentle speed of the cabin lift (approx. 2,5 m/s) allows you to enjoy the scenery at leisure. The vertical drop between the lower and top stations is 302 meters, while the maximum travelling altitude of the cabin from the ground surface is about 20 meters. Below the lift line go a downhill track, a freeride route and dirt tracks of Levi Bike Park.

At the top station, you can get off the lift and take a walk around the top of the fell or enjoy coffee break at the terrace of restaurant Palovartija. The name of the restaurant “Palovartija” refers to the building having served earlier as a fire guard’s house. The building has now been refurbished to serve as a restaurant while also retaining its historical value. Lift passes are sold at Gondola restaurant next to rental on the lower lift station.

Express, the second cabin lift of Levi, gives a ride from Zero Point to the top of Koutalaki where is located Congress and Conference Centre Levi Summit. Over the village Sirkka you may admire views of fells Särki-, Olos-, Pallas-, Sammal-, Keimiö- and Ounastunturi. The vertical drop between the lower and top stations is 114 meters.

Express lift has two 3-cabins groups which move at the same time between stations with driving speed of 5 m/ s. 8 passangers may take place in one cabin so 24 passangers transfer at the same time in one direction. The actual transfer takes good two minutes. Lift passes are sold at Zero Point where are open also rental and Levi.Shop. From the upper station you may take a ride down by summer sledge and enjoy coffee break at Café Tanja in Zero Point.

3-hour pass, day-pass and season pass include bike transportation. Children under 6 years ride free, but only in company of adults.
