Hetta–Pallas hike

We will meet at Hetta or Levi as agreed. At Hetta we will have a warm meal before starting the hike in the national park of Pallas-Yllästunturi. We will check all the equipment and pack the last things in our backpacks, and then our trek can begin. We will cross the lake Ounasjärvi by boat. The trek continues through Pyhäkero to Siioskuru. We will spend the nights in tents, log cabins (open for everyone) or reserved log cabins, depending on what we have agreed.

We will continue among beautiful landscapes through Pahakuru until we come to Hannukuru, where sweet hot steams are waiting for us in the new sauna. On the following day we will walk to Suaskuru and then to the top of Lumikero. If we are lucky and the cafe is open, we can enjoy coffee and doughnuts in Nammalankuru cafe. We will spend our last night in Nammalankuru. On the following day we will hike to Pallas. We will end our journey by bathing and dining in the Levi spa and hotel.
