Set off into beautiful and pure Lappish nature on a pleasant nature trail. We gather forest mushrooms and, if available, also berries, and at the end of the trek, we make them into a delicious mushroom soup lunch.
Our guide, who knows the best places for picking mushrooms, leads us there along easy country trails. Each participant is provided with an illustrated guide to picking mushrooms, which makes gathering easy. During the trek, the guide recounts tales of Lappish nature, and the flora and fauna that can be found there. After a while, when the mushroom basket starts to be full, we return to prepare a tasty mushroom soup from what we have picked. The soup lunch is crowned with fresh bread that the guide has baked him/herself. Over a cup of coffee, it's nice to swap stories about the highlights of the mushroom-picking expedition. If the mushroom crop is unexpectedly plentiful, you can preserve some of them and take them home as presents. Our guide will give you the best tips and recipes for this, and also such things as ingredients needed to preserve them and a glass jar.
