You meet your Nordic walking guide at rental of Zero Point at Front pistes (Hissitie 8), where you get suitable walking sticks for your height and a wristop computer. After warming up and learning the basics of Nordic walking you begin your hike which takes you along easy, bark-covered footpaths into the forest. This route winding along the lower part of the fell, includes the 500m-long scenic bridge, from where you can view fantastic vistas of Lake Immeljärvi and Kätkä Fell. The route continues through varying terrain on the western side of Levi fell and ends at the lower Gondola station.
At rental of Gondola you can get an understanding of the data from your wristop computer with the help of the instructor. The total length of the route is 2.8 km. You should aim to keep your pulse level at 50-70% of the maximum level, depending on your level of fitness; that is to say, you should be able to talk without puffing and blowing.
The Levi Nordic Fitness Sports Park is a part of international Nordic Fitness Sport Park concept.
