Boat trip to river Loukinen

We start our trip from Levi and head by car to the bank of river Ounasjoki where we continue our trip further north by boat. After approx 10 km boat trip we will reach Loukisensaari kota hut. We sit around the fireplace in a genuine Lappish teepee (kota) and enjoy delicious salmon soup, hot pancakes and coffee. On the way back it’s possible to try our luck in fishing. When we return to Sammun Tupa there is a warm sauna already waiting for us. The brave ones can go swimming straight from sauna’s heats. After sauna’s gentle and relaxing steams transfer back to Levi.

Duration: Approx 6 hours. Transfer from Levi to rive 10 km, approx. 15 minutes.

Group size: Minimum 4 persons, maximum 10 persons

Availability: On request 1.6. – 30.9. Bookings at least 7 days before.

Equipment: Proper outdoor outfit according to the weather. Supplier provides other necessary equipment needed.

Price: 125 eur/person including transfers by car and boat, soup lunch, guide’s service.

Children under 12 yrs –50% if there are at least 4 adults in the group.
