The third Silence -festival for performing arts is happening in Kittilä, in the beautiful and exotic Villa Magia. Festival brings together northern artists from different art forms to discuss and to get together in a peaceful and inspiring surrounding. The Levi 24 event’s competitors mountain bike off road for 24 hours. Competitors can enter as solo riders or as part of a team. Winners of the competition are the rider and the teams that in 24 hours have cycled the longest way. The event starts on Friday at 18.00 and lasts for the next 24 hours until Saturday 18.00. Nights less night and midsummer sun are celebrated at Levi with various programs. The highlight of the Finnish Midsummer parties is the huge bonfire lit at midnight (Fri-Sat). Traditional midsummer party in View restaurant Tuikku on 21.6: Live music, karaoke, bar, midsummer bonfire. On 21.6 party at Hullu Poro and on 22.6 Midsummer jam at Hullu poro. The motorbike enthusiasts of the North are gathering in Levi – this is the first international gathering here in Levi! Come and join this special event swiftly and with style – there will be lots of events. The main thing is to drive in the surroundings and have fun. There is a wide range of accommodation possibilities, from luxurious apartments to tents. We will drive along scenic roads – asphalt and gravel/dirt roads and even on wild terrains. Fast-paced rally sprint events are driven in south, north, east and west of Finland. Future Cup is the most popular Finnish Rally series and is completely driven on tarmac. Welcome to 30th Ruskamaraton to Levi on Saturday the 7th of September 2013. Ruskamaraton offers activities for the whole family. Full, half and quarter marathon for adults and young adults. Ruska Walk for seniors and other easy goers and kid’s runs for young runners up to 12 years. From Friday to Sunday the Ruskamarkkinat market place offers all kind of goods from souvenirs and sports equipment to hot sausages and warm drinks.
