It has been predicted that there's going to be Northern Lights in Levi soon. So take a look skywards! Prediction provided by Sunsää.
A wintery walk through the village of Sirkka to an old Lappish courtyard, where we find the small picturesque atelier of local artist couple Raisa Raekallio and Misha Del Val. We see the artists at work, and hear about their unique method of painting on the same canvas in collaboration. While you are exploring art, your guide sets up a campfire on the yard. Artisan coffee beans from small scale Finnish roasteries, crystal clear well water and the smoky heat of a campfire combine to make the best lattes north of the Arctic Circle. You can enjoy your latte, cappuccino or americano (black currant juice for children), with a home-baked chocolate-lingonberry cookie, while marveling at the peaceful surroundings. Walking distance: altogether about 3km. Please wear warm winter clothing and good walking shoes. Duration about 2hrs.
