Ege Zulu, who also snagged a Best Newcomer nomination at the Emma Gala, draws inspiration from French music, saying that “especially the sound of Southern France, the so-called Marseille sound” drives his music forward.

Zulu’s album Oi maamme Helsinki, which rightfully earned him several Emma nominations, is a coming-of-age story that explores Helsinki and his personal experience of being a Helsinkian in a fresh and realistic way. Released in September 2022, the project has already accumulated over 10 million streams and kept the young artist busy as Zulu has been actively performing across Finland.
The album features an impressive lineup of top names in the genre: Sexmane, Jare, Asa, Turisti, Victor Nordis, LEWI, and Zpoppa.

The gig is free for everyone and you are able to watch it also from V'inkkari terrace (age limit 18+)
