Kittilä-based Art organization Silence (Taideorganisaatio Hiljaisuus) and the Lapland Chamber Orchestra are organizing a unique experience at the peak of Fell Lapland this September.

The second concert in the Glow on the Summit (Huipulla hehkuu!) series takes place on Friday, September 25, 2026, combining sparkling masterpieces of the Baroque and Classical eras with the autumn fell landscape in the panoramic space of Levi Summit.

The concert will be conducted and led from the harpsichord by Italian virtuoso Francesco Corti, renowned as one of today's leading international interpreters of Baroque and Classical music. Serving as Musical Director of the Drottningholm Royal Court Theatre and Principal Guest Conductor of Il Pomo d'Oro, Corti performs regularly on the world’s most prestigious stages, including the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam and the Berlin Philharmonic.

At the Levi Summit concert, Corti joins forces with the Lapland Chamber Orchestra for a multidisciplinary evening music experience featuring works by Boccherini, C. P. E. Bach, and Haydn, among others. The visual design and lighting design for the concert are created by Jukka Huitila.

The Glow on the Summit concert series brings high-caliber musical arts and multidisciplinary concert experiences to the panoramic space of Levi Summit.
