International Ski Patrol Day at Leevilandia

On Monday, February 10, 2025 from 1pm to 2pm, International Ski Patrol Day will be held at Leevilandia. Join us for a fun and relaxed way to learn more about slope safety.

On Monday, February 10th, we celebrate International Ski Patrol Day! Ski patrollers – the dedicated professionals in red who ensure slope safety – take care of ski resort security, guide skiers, and make sure first aid is always close by. They also enforce slope rules to ensure a safe and enjoyable skiing experience for everyone.

Come celebrate International Ski Patrol Day and learn more about slope safety in a fun and relaxed way. The event starts at 1:00 PM and lasts for one hour.

Program:

Slope Safety Runs

• Ski together with the Ski Patrol and the Leevi Wolverine while learning essential safety skills on the slopes.

Guided Tour in Leevilandia

• The Ski Patrol will explain key slope and safety signs along the way and share best practices for skiers.

Safety Stations

• Try hands-on activities such as setting up a safety fence and learning the basics of slope safety.

Patrol Equipment Showcase

• Meet the Ski Patrol team, and if possible, get a closer look at the patrol snowmobile.
