Spend atmospheric moments in the mountain and enjoy the crisp hues of autumn.
Kotatulet
The colors of autumn slowly fade away, but the crisp freshness begins to signal the arrival of shimmering whiteness. Fires are lit in the fell huts, and we gather together to sing, find peace, be surprised, and experience it all with every fiber of our being.
The fell provide a serene setting for artists and performers, infusing the program with calming energy. Laughter and joy are not forgotten, as the coming of winter is a cause for celebration. Between activities, we hike along the fell trails and simply listen to the silence.
At the Kotatulet event, the performances take place in the fell huts and their surroundings. The easiest way to travel between the huts is on foot. Cycling is also allowed, but it is advisable to plan your approach carefully and be prepared for steeper ascents and descents.
Kindly note, that the route is not barrier-free.
One hour has been allocated for transitions between activities, providing ample time to enjoy the scenery and have a snack break. On the fell, you’ll find Restaurant Tuikku (open from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, buffet from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM) and the Palovartija Cabin (open from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM), but we recommend bringing your own drinks and snacks for the journey. The transitions take place in the fell, so expect some uphill hiking as well!
