LEVI OPEN RUSH

Experience the rush – a mass start from the summit to the village!

On April 18, 2026, Levi will host something truly unique. Levi Open Rush is a fast-paced and accessible mass-start race where Levitunturi is conquered from the summit all the way down to the Front Slopes.

The race begins at the summit of Levi with a running start, after which competitors continue towards the finish on the Front Slopes using skis, a snowboard, or cross-country skiing equipment. The approximately four-kilometre route combines speed, tactics and great atmosphere – making it a relaxed but competitive event where the main goal is to enjoy the experience and a great day on the mountain together.

Open Rush is open to everyone and style is free.

• Online pre-registration: €20

• Challenge your friends to join the race too! You can register two people in advance in the system for a combined price of €25. 🏁⛷️

• On-site late registration: €25
  Late registration at the race office (Conference room II, Zero Point upstairs):
  Fri 17:00–19:00 & Sat 10:00–13:00

The participation fee includes:

• race entry

• race bib and timing chip

• an unforgettable mountain experience

A valid lift pass is required to participate.
Participation fees are non-refundable.

Race Route

The race starts at the summit of Levi and follows an approximately four-kilometre route down to the Front Slopes.

• Running start from the Levi summit

• Put on your equipment after the start area

• The route continues down the mountain towards the Front Slopes

• Finish on the Front Slopes

The course offers fast sections, tactical elements and a relaxed competitive atmosphere.

Prizes

Top competitors in each category will receive product prizes. The best outfit of the race will be awarded!
In addition, all participants will be entered into a draw to win e.g.:

• 1 summer season pass for summer 2026

• 1 winter season pass for winter 2026-2027

Safety

The route will be clearly marked and supervised. Course marshals, safety fencing and ski patrol staff along the route will ensure safe progress throughout the race.

Participants must wear appropriate protective equipment and follow the instructions of the organisers. All participants must have valid leisure or travel insurance covering possible accidents or damages during the race. The organiser does not provide insurance for participants.
