Experience the rush – a mass start from the summit to the village!

Levi Open Rush returns on 17 April 2027!

The first Levi Open Rush brought a completely new kind of competition to the slopes of Levi in spring 2026 – and now the fell’s most action-packed mass start returns on 17 April 2027.

Everyone starts at the same time from the top of Levi with a running start, before continuing towards the finish line on the Front Slopes on skis, a snowboard or cross-country skis. The approximately four-kilometre course combines speed, tactical choices and a unique race atmosphere in Levi’s spectacular spring scenery.

Levi Open Rush is more than just a competition. It’s a fun, fast-paced and accessible event where the shared start and a great spring day on the slopes are all part of the experience. Choose your style – everyone is welcome to join!

Entry fees and further registration details will be published when registration opens. A valid lift pass is required to take part in the race.

Race day – 17 April 2027

Levi Open Rush takes place on Saturday, 17 April 2027.

A detailed race-day schedule will be published closer to the event.

Race course

The race starts at the top of Levi and follows an approximately four-kilometre course towards the Front Slopes.

• Running start from the top of Levi

• Put on your equipment after the starting section

• The course continues down the fell towards the Front Slopes

• Finish on the Front Slopes

The course combines fast descents, tactical sections and a fun, competitive atmosphere.

Prizes

The top competitors in each category will be rewarded. There will also be a prize for the best outfit!

Safety

The course is marked and supervised. Course marshals, safety fencing and ski patrol personnel along the route help ensure a safe race. Participants must use appropriate protective equipment and follow the organisers’ instructions.

Participants must have valid leisure or travel insurance that covers any accidents or injuries that may occur during the competition. The organiser does not provide insurance for participants.
