REIDAR100: Public opening

Artist, Professor Reidar Särestöniemi would turn 100 years old in 2025. Welcome to celebrate with us the public opening of one of the most successful and colorful artists of his time in his hometown of Särestö.

Saturday 25.1.2025 at 10-16

14:00 Exhibition: So the bear dog wakes up to spring. In the gallery, museum director Anne Koskamo will open the spring celebration exhibition and talk about the artist Reidar Särestöniemi. Finally, the audience has the opportunity to ask questions about the exhibition or the artist's life. Coffee will be served.

15:15 Guided tour: Let's get to know Särestö's life in the Old Särestö Pirtti and Reidar's life and art in the Atelier and Gallery.

Duration: 1.5 hours.

Museum ticket on public weekends only 10€. The museum ticket includes the weekend program. We also accept museum cards.
