Getting around at Levi
It is easy to get around at Levi!
Levi is a compact resort, where everything is close. Most services are within easy walking distance.
During the winter season Ski Buses transport between the Levi fells and the major accommodation areas runs every half hour from 9:00 to 19:00. There are two routes.
- R1 path from Zero Point via Northeast slopes (lift 6) and Hossa by Sirkka school to Muoniontie, where the bus turns towards Myllyjoentie and drives past the Levin Porti back to Zero Point.
- R2 track drives south from Zero Point on the main road towards the South slopes (South Point) and returns to Levi centre via Länsirinteentie, visits the Gondola area and drives back to Zero Point.
Free village bikes facilitate free movement across the Levi area during the snow-free season. The village bikes can be borrowed from several hotels in Levi and from Levi Tourist Information. During summer 2020 village bikes are unfortunately not available.
If you are travelling by car, please note that parking spaces around Levin centre are limited. If you are travelling by electric vehicle, you will be happy to know that Levi has the northernmost charging dock for electric vehicles in Finland.
You can just as easily enjoy your holiday at Levi without your car. You can hire a car from Levi car rentals. Taxis are also at your service all year round.
