Limited services at Levi are open. Levi Ski Resort was closed on Sunday 22nd March. Travelling to Levi is not recommended.

All public events gathering over 10 people are prohibited. Restaurant and cafe visits, bowling, skiing etc and other commercial activities are still allowed.

Please notice that if you are quarantined because of a previous trip abroad or for other reasons at your place of residence, same regulations and restrictions also at Levi!

Hygiene plays a central role in preventing the coronavirus to outbreak. Please take care of your hand-hygiene. Avoid close contact with other people like unnecessary hand shakes, hugs and cuddles.


For international customers we unfortunately need to recommend to start planning  to travel home as soon as possible due exceptional circuimstances due Covid-19.


At the moment supermarkets are open and some restaurants doing take away and home deliveries. We will follow the instructions coming from the public authorities.

Vinkkari, Ihku, Kota, Soma, Bar Alakerta, Wanha Poro, Asia, Sapuska, Hölmölä, Wallis and Northern Cowboy are closed or will be closing soon. Check the opening hours and services here.

Indoor Day-Care for children at Leevilandia and Kidsland are closed. Leevilandia and Kidsland outdoor programs are cancelled for now.


Ylläs-Levi on Saturday the 4th of April is cancelled. Registered participants have two options  – either a refund of 50% of the registration fee (per General terms and conditions) or a transfer of the registration to next year’s Ylläs-Levi which will be held on 17th of April 2021. The organizing comittee will contact all the registered participants directly during the following weeks with further information on how to proceed. There is no need for participants to contact or take other action in the meantime.

The Levi MayDay first of May party has been cancelled.


All the gigs and concerts at Hullu Poro Areena are cancelled from March 13th on. Purchased tickets can be redeemed from or from Hullu Poro's reception depending where the tickets were purchased.

All the gigs at Tuikku are cancelled. Check Tuikkus opening times on the Facebook.

All the gigs at Joiku are cancelled and Joiku Closed.

Gigs at Gastro K Levi are cancelled.


Spa, Ailu Family Fun & Bowling closed.


Customer services are closed until 13th April 2020. Customer service by e-mail. phone calls and social media.
Gyms are closed as well as the Kuruyoga yoga cancelled.


Bookings done via Visit Levi: Regarding foreign customers we try to rebook your reservation or we can cancel your reservation on your request right away. Regarding domestic customers we will primary follow our booking and cancellation policies.

Bookings between 27.3. - 10.5. are possible to cancel with a refund. Paid amount will be reduced with the administration fee. A booking for this period is also possible to reschedule if the holiday home owner agrees to this.

Visit Levi online shop for accommodation bookings is closed for the new bookings between 22.3-31.5.2020. New bookings fro coming autumn and winter can be done normally online or with Visit Levi Sales Department

Other service providers: Is the event or activity cancelled? Is the restaurant open? Can I cancel the booking? Please contact the service provider directly!  


If you suspect you have been exposed to a corona infection and you are visiting Levi, please call the Kittilä municipality's healthcare center +358 400 356 498. You will be adviced over the phone for further procedure.

In case you are experiencing symptoms of a normal seasonal flu and there is no reason to suspect a corona infection, you may stay at home treatment. Please do not spread exposure to others by restricting your visits to public areas. Avoid contact with other people and crowded places.
