Running event Ruskamaraton is back in Levi on September 3rd, 2022

Now is the time to register for the happiest and most colourful event of the autumn, the Ruskamaraton, taking place on September 3rd, 2022. If you register online by 23:59 on September 2nd, 2022 and select your shirt size, you will also receive a nice, black Ruskamaraton shirt with the registration fee. The shirt costs €20 when registering at the race office. The race office also has a pink version of the shirt for sale.

Ruskamaraton is a running and outdoor event taking place on the first weekend of September.The event was organized for the first time in the village of Kittilä in 1984.

If you are a runner, you should head north and to the Ruskamaraton at the beginning of September. It is one of the oldest sports events in Lapland and offers experiences at every step, no matter which distance you choose.

And here's an additional incentive if you have thought about participating in the 10 km run: Among the participants in the 10 km run, a €300 accommodation gift card will be drawn for Levi Hotel Spa, the partner of the event. It entitles you to a weekend in a family room. So even if you finish last, you still have a chance to win!

If your children are taking part in the junior race and you want to avoid queuing at the race office on the day of the event, register your juniors for the race online. When you don’t have to spend energy is waiting, it is saved for cheering the runners during the race. The loudest shouts of encouragement at the Ruskamaraton are usually heard in the youth competitions.

After the races have been run, you should head dancing at Hullu Poro Arena. Ruskamaraton's partner Hullu Poro Oy offers entry to the Arena for €20 (norm. €30) by showing your medal from the race. With the saved money, you can order a recovery drink after a hard performance. So see you after the competition at Hullu Poro Arena with medals around your neck!
