JK-Tuotanto is a small family company. We, Päivi and Jukka, are a couple living the life of our dreams – moving within the seasons between our two homes in Lapland.

In summertime you can visit us at lake Miekojärvi, at the Arctic circle. There we work as as fishermen on the lake. Our guests can live for a while our life as a fisherman couple on the lake Miekojärvi and preparing food outside on the fire. During the winter we move higher up into the north, to lake Jerisjärvi. Our winter home is in a cozy spot to enjoy the winter and explore the Fell-Lapland area. Our way of life is simple and follows the rhythm of the seasons. Surrounding nature, its sounds, scents and flavours makes us happy. We want to invite our customers to join our way of life for a while and make the world a better place – one guest at a time.

Our customers can experience flavours of the local food and Finnish lifestyle. Our activities also support local culture, strengthens the bond to the nature and the sustainable food production and fishing. We offer for our guests unique activities that are based on our everyday life such as

• A day with the fisherman and local fish meal made on the fire – traditional fishing with fisherman and enjoying local the taste of local food and stories with Fisherman couple
• A trip to the lake checking the nets under the ice and local fish meal made on the fire - spend a moments in the lappish nature like locals do
• Guided snowshoe trip to the fells, in to the snowy forest or on the lake – spend a moments in the nature and feel the silence around you and enjoy the self-made picnic lunch
• The Lappish seremony with the Lappish man – feel the moments of four seasons and the lappish way of life beside the fire
• Dinner or supper with many kind of fish delicacies and special program – a journey to the world of local food and flavours with stories and songs of fisherman couple
• Traditional fishing with the seine and soot pot coffee on the lake Miekojärvi – sit on the bench, look the stunning view of the lake and be part of traditional fisherman life
