The ceremony usually takes place in a lavvu, Lappish tent or hut. The guests are invited inside, and everyone sits in a circle around a central fire. With the host's close connections to nature and local traditions you will get a true feel for the mysteries and magic of the North and of Lapland. It's a ceremony intended to connect Lappish culture with its guests, and create a sense of warmth and inclusiveness.
