Wood Jewel is founded in the beginning of 80s. Owner and CEO Kauko Raatiniemi started the business along his main job. beside of his main job. At first, he made big items like clocks from goat willow gnarl. Beginning of 90s Kauko started full time entrepreneur. First worker came 1995 and today company employs about 20 workers around the year.
Our selection consists of knives, souvenirs, utensils, and gifts. Main materials are Finnish curly birch, reindeer horn and colored plywood. Our knives manufacture for use. We pay attention to material of blade, shape of handle and how the knife fit in sheet. We also make design knives and knives for gifts.
