The tour offers an inspiring way to get to know freeriding as a sport while also providing an opportunity to learn about the activities of Leviät ry. The tour begins with a brief introduction to freeride-related skiing and snow safety equipment. After this, the group will proceed at a relaxed pace up the fell along the marked R.1 skinning route, taking both the group and prevailing conditions into account. The descent will take place along marked slopes on Levi’s Front Slopes. During the tour, participants can enjoy the atmosphere of the fell and receive practical tips related to freeriding. The duration of the tour is approximately two to three hours, and it starts in front of Zero Point at the bottom station of the North lift. Participants are required to bring their own equipment, including climbing skins, suitable skis, boots, bindings, poles, a helmet, and a backpack. Equipment can be rented in advance, for example from the Zero Point rental shop.
