In Levi, there are four caravan areas available during the summer and two during the winter. The Levilehto area is located right in the center of Levi, Muumari's Caravan area is by the shores of Immeljärvi, Gondola Motorhome Stopover is situated next to the adventure park and Gondola lift, just a little bit over two kilometers from the center of Levi, and Polar Lights Tours' Wilderness Camp is approximately 10 kilometers away from the center of Levi.
The Levilehto area offers comprehensive services conveniently located all within the same
place, and it's just a few steps away from the shops, village services, and restaurants. In the courtyard, you'll find sauna and shower facilities, separate ones for men and women, a kitchen area equipped with a washing machine, dryer, and drying cabinet, restroom facilities (including an accessible restroom), a chemical toilet emptying point, luggage storage, and a ski maintenance room that in the summer doubles as a bicycle maintenance area. The pricing of services is determined based on the number of people.
Levilehto's courtyard also features holiday apartments, so if your sleeping quarters in your vehicle become narrow, you have the option to rent a cottage for more spacious accommodation. You can also enjoy Levilehto's comprehensive services while camping in a tent. The area is available year-round, and seasonal pitches are available for sale during the winter months.
Muumari's Caravan Area is located right near the center of Levi, by the shores of Immeljärvi. The area offers 25 caravan spots, saunas, a chemical toilet disposal point, and a laundry room. Muumari also has apartments available for rent, and camping in tents is also possible on the premises. The town center and shops are less than half a kilometer away, making all amenities easily accessible. Muumari's area also features a beach with the Saunabaari restaurant serving beverages with alcohol! Fishing permits for Immeljärvi, as well as the rental of stand-up paddleboards and boats, can be conveniently arranged at the same location, and the great hiking and cycling trails of Kätkä are right nearby.
Muumari's Caravan Area is open both in the summer and winter season. For the winter season, you can inquire about seasonal pitches directly with Muumari's staff.
Gondola's Motorhome Stopover
Gondola's Motorhome Stopover is closed during the summer of 2023 due to renovations in the Gondolin area.
Staying at Gondola's Motorhome Stopover is free, but there is a fee for electricity usage. Additionally, the Motorhome Stopover offers a chemical toilet disposal facility and shower and sauna services for an extra charge; you can ask for more information at the Bike Park rental office. The Adventure Park area provides plenty of activities for both children and adults. Everyone can enjoy the Adventure Park, with activities like frisbee golf and mini-golf suitable for all ages, and kids can have fun riding pedal cars in the traffic park. You can rent bikes and equipment for downhill biking as well as regular mountain biking from the rental office. The area also has a café-restaurant and a summer kiosk that are open throughout the summer season.
Just a few hundred meters away, there's a store and a gas station open every day of the week, and the Gondola lift takes you to the top of the fell to enjoy the scenic views (Gondola open daily, weather permitting). A jogging trail starts right nearby, and the trampoline park is sure to get you active and sweating!
The caravan area at the Adventure Park is only open during the summer season.
Polar Lights Tours' Wilderness Camp
Polar Lights Tours Wilderness Camp is located approximately 10 kilometers from the center of Levi, towards Muonio. The campsite offers 5 spots for motorhomes or caravans, and you can also camp in tents or hammocks, which are available for rent. In the yard, there's a traditional "kammi" shelter and a gas grill for cooking. The kammi also houses a pop-up summer restaurant where you can order items like burgers and pancakes. The camp is also home to Finnish horses and 120 sled dogs, which you can get to know through a guided tour which is included in the price.
The camp is right next to nature which allows you to sleep close to the wilderness and take a dip in the nearby lake. There's also a barrel sauna in the yard that can be rented and heated up. Polar Lights Tours Wilderness Camp is open only during the summer season.
