Levi Ski Resort and an international hotel operator to develop a major hotel and service complex at Zero Point

27.5.2026

Levi Ski Resort has taken a significant step forward in the development of a new hotel and service complex in the centre of Levi and will continue advancing the project together with an international hotel operator. The development will be located between Levi Hotel Spa and Zero Point, at the very heart of Levi’s tourism services, with a total floor area of approximately 14,000 square metres.

The project includes a ski-in/ski-out hotel with approximately 250 rooms, restaurant services, and direct access to the services at Zero Point. At the same time, Levi Ski Resort will also carry out an expansion of approximately 2,000 square metres at Zero Point.

A shared underground parking facility is planned beneath the hotel and Zero Point and will be jointly managed by the hotel and Levi Ski Resort.

The total investment is estimated to exceed €60 million, making it one of the most significant tourism and service investments in Levi’s history. Construction is scheduled to begin in spring 2027, with completion expected by spring 2029 at the latest. In the next phase, the project will proceed with selecting a construction company and an investment partner for the hotel property. Aventum Real Estate Ltd acts as the financial advisor to Levi Ski Resort in the project.

“Levi is already an international ski resort, and this project marks one of the next steps in its development. The project will strengthen the Zero Point area as Levi’s central slope and service hub, while also supporting year-round tourism,” says Jouni Palosaari, CEO of Levi Ski Resort.

The hotel project attracted strong interest among several international hotel operators.

“The project generated wide interest among international hotel operators. It is great that we were ultimately able to select an operator whose customer base and concept are an excellent fit for our resort’s target groups,” Palosaari adds.

The hotel and service complex will be built on the site of the current maintenance facility and V’inkkari restaurant. The existing maintenance facility will be demolished to make way for the project, and Levi Ski Resort will construct a new maintenance facility on the South Slopes during 2026.

The V’inkkari restaurant will continue its operations at a new location beneath the Front Slopes, with further details to be announced later.
