If you need a breather from the centre of Levi, drive 22 km from Sirkka towards Muonio. Ruoppaköngäs is an easy trekking destination. You can get near by car and then follow a small path to Pahikkojärvi lake. On teh rocky shores you will feel as if you are deep in the wilderness. Remember to wear sturdy shoes so you can head out further and discover the rapids.
