Well-maintained equipment, sharp edges and properly waxed base makes the riding a joy. Tuning your gear on a regular basis not only makes you faster, it makes handling smoother and ensures good grip even in the iciest conditions. Regular ski and snowboard tuning keeps your equipment in good shape and extends the life of your skis/snowboard to ensure your skis glide smoothly.
It is recommended to grind the base at least once or twice each season to increase the life span of your skis or snowboard with several years. Base grinding removes minor damages and opens the blocked surface pores of your skis or snowboard. Tiny cuts are ground off and the base becomes true and flat. Grinded base also absorbs gliding wax better. Proper waxing should be done three to four times a season to ensure your skis/snowboard glide smoothly. Take care of your gears and enjoy them longer!
Our professional ski service tunes your skis and snowboards fast and efficiently. We use automatic Wintersteiger multi-functional ski-service machines in addition to quality handcraft.
