Levi Ski Resort won the Best Small World Snow Day category at the FIS World Snow Day Awards

Levi Ski Resort was awarded as the Best Small World Snow Day event at the World Snow Day Awards. This year, there were 31 events participating in the Best Small World Snow Day category. The competition for the Best Small World Snow Day is really tough because there are many nominees in the category. The events with the most nominees in the Best Small World Snow Day category are those with fewer than 500 participants.

Levi Ski Resort celebrated World Snow Day on January 14th, 2023, at Levi's South Slopes. The goal of this international winter event is to introduce as many children and young people as possible to the fascinating world of snow activities. During the day, Levi Ski Resort offered free introductory skiing and snowboarding lessons for children, organized a fun slalom race in collaboration with local clubs, showcased snow art, and held cross-country skiing and sledding competitions. Children received discounted tickets and equipment rentals in honor of the day. All participants in the event received World Snow Day tubular scarves, stickers, and diplomas.

Levi Ski Resort has decided to donate the funds received from the Best Small World Snow Day award to support children's and youth sports in the Levi Ski Club. The donated funds will be used to purchase a trampoline so that children and young people can practice jumps throughout the year.

Next winter, World Snow Day will be celebrated on January 21, 2024, and Levi Ski Resort will once again celebrate the international day of snow over the weekend with fun and shared activities. The international winter event, FIS World Snow Day, aims to highlight the health benefits of snow activities, promote a healthy lifestyle, and emphasize the importance of environmental conservation so that future generations can also enjoy snow sports. During the day, the focus is also on showing children and their families how to safely enjoy the slopes and snow.
