Gondolas and chairlifts are an essential part of the Levi experience throughout the year. But what does it take to keep them operating safely in all weather conditions? We took a behind-the-scenes look at lift operations together with Levi Ski Resort's Slope Operations Manager, Teemu Hämäläinen.

Levi Ski Resort has taken a significant step forward in the development of a new hotel and service complex in the centre of Levi and will continue advancing the project together with an international hotel operator. The development will be located between Levi Hotel Spa and Zero Point, at the very heart of Levi’s tourism services, with a total floor area of approximately 14,000 square metres.

Levi Ski Resort was awarded as the Ski Resort of the Year at the spring meeting of the Finnish Ski Area Association on Thursday, May 4th, in Himos. The judging panel particularly recognized Levi's ability to listen to the wishes of skiers and snowboarders and respond to them enthusiastically. The panel also appreciated Levi's long-term development work. The international snow sport instructors' Interski Congress held in Levi was also recognized as the Achievement of the Year at the same event.
