A day that naturally flows from one activity to another
Their first stop was the Adventure Park, where 10-year-old Aurora clipped into her harness and took off confidently. Moving through the course like a pro, she quickly set the pace for the day, while her father Mikko did his best to keep up.
The Adventure Park quickly became the highlight for the whole family.
“That was definitely the best part of the day,” says Virpi.
After a quick ice cream break, it was time for the Summer Sled Track. Aurora’s approach is simple:
“I go full speed – I only brake in the corners,” she laughs.
Shared moments, at your own pace
The family’s competitive side came out during a round of mini golf, where Mikko claimed the win.
“He’s played golf before, so he has a bit of an advantage,” Virpi smiles, adding that Aurora might still be the most competitive of them all.
They then headed up with the Gondola 2000 lift – included in the Summer Ticket’s unlimited access. At the top, they paused to take in the views and continue a small family tradition.
“We always try to spot the familiar fells like Pallas and Ylläs,” Virpi explains.

The family also spent time in the Bike Park, where Mikko enjoyed the flow of the trails.
“There’s something about it – you have to focus completely, and everything else disappears.”
